Justin Bieber: Superstar or Menace?

International pop star Justin Bieber, 20, was taken into custody in Florida on January 23 2014 on suspicion of driving under the influence and drag racing in a residential area of Miami beach.
Police said the pop star was incoherent, had his hands in his pockets, and was verbally abusive although not physically while being detained.
Officer Cosner was first on the scene. “I immediately smelled an odor of alcohol emanating from the driver's breath and bloodshot eyes. The driver had slow deliberate movements and a stuper look on his face. These are all indicators of an impaired driver.”
The officer then told the driver to step out of his vehicle and place his hands on the roof of the car so that the officer could see that the suspect did not have any contraband or weapons. Bieber was not compliant with the officers and was using profanity while resisting. He was then placed under arrest.

Further Release
The defendant was transported to the Miami Beach Police Department. Once at the holding facility, the defendant was tested for substances and did not perform to standards.       The Preliminary Toxicology report stated that the defendant was positive for 9-Carboxy THC and Alprazolam.
The defendant was sentenced to do to a mandatory anger management course along with a $50,000 charity fine.
